Be Customer obsessed
Everything at TIer One starts with the customer and then we work backwards. We like to pay attention to competitors but we obsess over what customers need and want. Work vigorously to earn and keep customer trust. If we’re not serving the customer then why are we doing it?
Think Big
Thinking small is a self-fulfilling prophecy. Those with a growth mindset think differently and look around corners for ways to serve the customer.
Invent and Simplify
Innovation and invention is encouraged, we’re always looking for ways to simplify. Don’t operate with a fixed mindset, look for new ideas from everywhere and opportunities to improve or simplify daily processes and tasks.
Take Ownership and pitch in
Act on behalf of the entire organisation, beyond your own team. Never say “that’s not my job”. Think long term and don’t sacrifice long-term value for short-term results.
Collaborate and Commit
The team at Tier One are encourage to respectfully challenge decisions when they disagree, even when doing so is uncomfortable. They have conviction and are tenacious. They do not compromise for the sake of social cohesion. Once a decision is determined, everyone in the team commits wholly but robust and open discussion is critical to finding solutions and progress.
